AI is changing work: cameras that warn about hazards, apps that assign jobs and rate workers, software that sets shifts and targets, and wearables that track fatigue and location. Some of it makes work safer; some of it makes work more stressful or intrusive. This free, short course helps workers understand AI at work, protect their data and dignity, stay safe and know their rights.
Who it’s for
Workers in any job, including delivery riders and drivers, warehouse, factory, mine, farm and construction workers, call centre staff, and union and safety representatives. No technical knowledge needed.
What you’ll learn
- How AI is used at work.
- What monitoring is reasonable, and what isn’t.
- How apps that manage work operate, including ratings and deactivation.
- Your data rights and dignity at work.
- How to stay safe and look after your wellbeing.
- Your rights, and where to get help.
How it works
Six short modules, about 3.5 hours in total, with five-minute lessons, quick practice and a short check after each module. Practice activities use made-up workplaces; real examples come from regulators, courts and research.
This course doesn’t give legal advice; rights differ by country and job.
Certificate
Finish all six modules to earn a certificate of completion and a badge you can share.
